MRC hired Layla in October 2023 as Program Coordinator for Northern California. Previously, Chamberlin was the Recycling Coordinator for Republic Service’s western division in Contra Costa County. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, she earned a double major in Environmental Science and Rhetoric. Chamberlin enjoys camping and hiking throughout California as well as making linoleum prints.
