Connecticut’s Public Act 13-42 (as amended) requires mattress manufacturers to create a statewide recycling program for mattresses and box springs discarded in the state.

MRC’s Bye Bye Mattress program in Connecticut collected more than 213,500 mattresses and diverted over 3,800 tons of material from the waste stream during its most recent reporting period.
