Connecticut’s Public Act 13-42 (as amended) requires mattress manufacturers to create a statewide recycling program for mattresses and box springs discarded in the state.

MRC’s Bye Bye Mattress program in Connecticut collected 205,046 mattresses and diverted 3,744 tons of material from the waste stream during its most recent reporting period.
