Prior to joining MRC, Jennifer Duran spent nearly a decade with the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission’s (EOC) Local Conservation Corps Recycling Program. She spent half of that decade managing and overseeing the daily recycling operations and the expansion of multiple work projects funded by CalRecycle, including E-waste, Waste Tires, Used Oil and CRV Collection. She’s built successful relationships with municipalities, nonprofits, businesses and schools and brings extensive experience in organizing collection events, community outreach and developing staff and young adults in green job industries. She plays and integral role in helping the program grow the mattress collection network, specifically in Central California and with the local conservation corps throughout the state. 

When Jennifer isn’t juggling work and her kids’ sports schedules, you can find her reading, enjoying a good concert or traveling the world one country at a time.
