Mike leads MRC’s day-to-day operations, manages staff, directs research efforts and oversees all aspects of the program. He has over 25 years of experience managing solid and hazardous waste collection programs for private and public entities, including product stewardship programs for paint and mercury-containing lamps. In 2013, he began working with MRC as a consultant and joined full-time in 2014 to launch the statewide mattress collection programs in California, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Today, MRC recycles nearly 2 million mattresses a year. 

When he isn’t evaluating program data in a quest for continuous improvement, Mike spends his time maintaining their 100-year-old home and tending to his golf game.
