Residents can recycle their mattresses and box springs by dropping off units at a participating recycler, collection site or collection event. 

Access to the program is also available if their retailer picks up old units when new ones are delivered.  See a list of participating retailers.

Businesses

Recycling Facilities 
A participating recycling facility will accept large quantities. An appointment is required. See locator for recycling facilities. 

Commercial Drop-off Sites 
Select sites accept commercial volume for free. Unit limits may apply and an appointment may be required.  

Commercial Volume Pickup 
MRC will pick up mattresses from mattress retailers, hotels, military sources, healthcare facilities and universities with at least 100 units. Mattress retailers must be compliant with Oregon’s law (collecting and remitting the required recycling fee and maintaining a registration with MRC). See full details here.
